❑ Remove the wing fairing and carefully cut away and remove the covering material on the wing from within the
outline you drew.
❑ Glue the wing fairing into place using 5 minute epoxy. Quickly remove any excess epoxy using a paper towel and
rubbing alcohol, and use pieces of masking tape to hold the wing fairing securely in place.
WARNING
Be very careful not to get any epoxy between the wing fairing and the fuselage side.

YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES:
❑ Ernst Airplane Stand
❑ Pencil
❑ 220 Grit Sandpaper w/Sanding Block
❑ Masking Tape
❑ Paper Towels
❑ (1) Molded Clear Canopy ❑ (6) 3mm x 5mm Wood Screws
Step 1: Trimming the Canopy

❑ Sand the edges of the canopy smooth and straight using 220 grit sandpaper with a sanding block, being careful not to

from the front), and the rear-most molded vertical canopy
frame should be even with the back of the cockpit.
❑ When satisfied with the alignment, hold the canopy in
place using pieces of masking tape.
Step 2: Mounting the Canopy
For a more scale appearance, carefully mask off and paint the canopy frame Olive Drab and Aluminum to match the
covering material.
